PAR-11 Handicapping

 PAR-11 stands for Point-A-Rally (formerly know as American scoring) up to 11 points, but winning each game by 2 clear points.

Handicapping

Graded Handicaps for the PAR-11 scoring system, based on abilities, are shown in the table below.

Players choose their own grades, example levels are shown.

The weaker player starts each game with a positive score equal to the difference between the two handicaps, up to a maximum of 8 points.

Under normal circumstances, players with more than an 8 point difference should not be playing against each other as neither will get a good game.
